Its enclosed “clamshell” design, liquid-tight connectors, cast aluminum capacitor cover, heavy duty ball bearings and high strength steel shafts extend service in environments involving food processing and meat slicing, says Imperial Electric.
Applications for this product include hydraulic pumps used in material handling, conveyors and equipment such as right angle gearboxes and direct drive applications. The face-mount units are available in power ratings of 1/4, 1/3, and 1/2 hp at 115 or 230 volts in 50 or 60 cycle AC.
