Mott's Inc. recently completed a $53 million expansion at its Aspers, Pa., manufacturing plant. The 400,000 square foot distribution center and manufacturing facility nearly triples the size of the existing facility to 14 acres under one roof. The new facility created 146 new jobs and includes an additional manufacturing line for apple juice and other drinks and a manufacturing line for Yoo-Hoo Chocolate Drinks.

Harvest States Foods, a national provider of tortillas and Mexican food products is building a new tortilla processing facility in Newton, N.C. This new 100,000-square-foot facility will replace two existing plants in Catawba County, located 60 miles from Charlotte. The plant will produce corn and flour tortillas and tortilla chips for retail and foodservice customers along the eastern seaboard.

To accommodate its growth, Seattle Coffee Company will move to a new 220,000-square-foot roasting, packaging and distribution facility located in Fife, WA.

Central Soya Company, Inc. recently completed a major expansion at its soy protein processing plant in New Breman, OH.

Flav-O-Rich Incorporated is planning a $6 million, 20,000 square-foot addition to its London, KY facility. Expansion plans include installing a new fluid milk filler room and constructing a new cooler and loading system to handle the additional capacity. Additional square footage in the new building will include an ambient temperature storage warehouse. Flav-O-Rich hopes to complete the project by the first quarter of 2003.

Osmonic Inc. is expanding its Minnetonka, MN, headquarters and manufacturing facility by 20 percent (60,000 square feet) to accommodate membrane filtration products. The facility will produce RO, nanofiltration (NF) and ultrafiltration (UF) membranes and elements for water purification applications. Completion is expected in 2004.

Flexicon Corporation has relocated into a new manufacturing facility and headquarter offices in Bethlehem, PA.

Hull Company is moving its corporate and manufacturing operations to a new facility in Warminster, PA.
