A new line of clamp-on insertion turbine flowmeters from Hoffer Flow Controls, Inc. is designed as an alternative to the plastic paddle wheel type flowmeters. The flowmeters come with additional bearing choices including tungsten carbide and hard carbon composite sleeve. The clamp-on saddle is offered in CPVC, stainless steel or ductile iron dependent upon pressure and flow media compatibility. Flow measurement for pipe sizes up to and including eight-inch are available.
