CorrLube, a lubricating oil for food and beverage processing applications, provides corrosion protection and retards bacterial growth, says Cortec, the manufacturer. With a USDA H-1 rating, the lubricant can be used for both dry and wet equipment. When applied to wet equipment and components, it displaces the water on the surfaces and replaces it with lubricant and protective film. The product is formulated with a bacteriostatic preservative that retards the growth of bacteria, says the company.
