Zip-Pak's in-line and RD applicators are available for small flange (1/2-in.) zippers. The in-line applicator fits under the infeed conveyor while the RD applicator fits onto the side of horizontal flow-wrapping machinery. Both applicators apply the zipper in the machine direction and can be retrofitted onto existing horizontal flow-wrapping machinery. The small flange zipper is available with Surlyn and polypropylene compatible sealants for easier sealing of the zipper to various types of films and minimization of film distortion.
