Romaco Unipac's U160 tube filling and closing machine features a servo motor control for the dosing pistons and diving injectors. Interconnection with downstream checkweighing systems allows automatic adjustment of fill volumes while the machine is in operation. The compact unit features a 16-station turntable; a high-capacity ergonomic tube loader located within the main machine frame; the capacity to handle aluminum, PE and laminate tubes; and fast changeover for both tube sizes and materials, says the company. Output is up to 100 tubes per minute and the fill volume range is 3 to 250 ml.
