Ferrum's F400 series can seamers can be configured for three to six seaming stations, speed ranges from 60 to 600 cans per minute and can diameter ranges of 50 to 154 mm. A new seaming machine drive concept uses servomotors that allow the operator to run the seaming spindles at a different speed from that of the actual machine. This means users can increase or decrease the actual revolutions per can cycle as required in order to get optimal seam integrity, based on the gauge of material being used.
