MRC Bearing Services says its Marathon series composite-mounted bearing units feature thermoplastic housings that are able to resist citric acids, cooking fats and most washdown chemicals and sanitizers. The units incorporate corrosion-resistant insert bearings, low-friction rubber seals and USDA-approved sealed-for-life lubricants. The housings offer embedded steel coils, polyurethane-filled housing bases and 300 series stainless steel bolt-hold inserts. A variety of sizes and housing designs, including pillow block, flange, tapped base, take-up and hanger, are available.
