Rockwell Automation added a new motor to its RPM AC line. The Reliance washdown inverter-duty motor is designed for harsh environments commonly found in food processing and packaging applications. The washdown IP-55 inverter-duty motor features white epoxy paint, stainless steel hardware and shaft, sealed bearings with lip seals and water slingers, and E-coated cast iron end shields with automatic drains. The product is available from 1/3 to 15 horsepower in 1200, 1800, 3600 base speeds.
