Key Technology introduced a new camera option for Optyx its Optical sorter. With one pass, applications susceptible to single-sided defects such as apple or potato slices are easily sorted to achieve the highest level of product quality, the manufacturer says.
Versatile upper and lower camera configurations can be set for a variety of defect detection and viewing requirements. The upper camera can be programmed to look for one type of target defects while the lower camera can sort another type.
