Sandvick says its 1700SA stainless steel conveyor belt provides an alternative for applications that could previously only be carried out using less hygienic materials such as plastics. The belt features a combination of high-impact resistance and high-thermal conductivity to provide resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion and distortion caused by fluctuations in temperature. Available in thicknesses from 0.6 mm down to 0.2 mm and widths from 100 mm up to 1,000 mm, the belts have a low deflection diameter. Cold-rolled and ground finishes are standard.
