The 500 Series of hot melt inkjet case printers for beverage tray and shrinkwrap printing provides an environmentally friendly printing solution with solvent-free TouchDry solid ink and delivers crisp, real-time variable information and codes, says Markem, the manufacturer. Scannable bar codes and detailed graphics and logos can also be produced. The printers are maintenance-free and can be refilled with ink during production, which helps provide an uptime of 99.99 percent, says the company. Users can operate up to four printheads with one controller.
