PPi Technologies offers a range of fill-seal machines to handle straw insertion into pre-made stand-up pouches. Pre-made stand-up pouches are made and then delivered to the selected PSG ABT, PSG LEE or Laudenberg PMP machines based on speed requirements. After the pouch is opened, the straw is placed and sealed into position. The pouch is then hot-filled with product and sealed. An easy-tear feature ensures positive pouch opening and access to the straw. The straw being placed inside the pouch allows for a reduced cost film structure.
