VibraPad Aerators from Cyclonaire are designed to increase the rate and consistency of flow for dry bulk materials. These devices eliminate bridging, rat-holing and compacting of dry bulk solids that cause plugging, erratic conveying and processing downtime, says the company. Fluidizing air combines with mechanical vibration to get dry bulk materials moving. Pressurized air enters the stainless steel shaft and flows into the cavities formed where the umbrella-shaped rubber pad is pressed against the bin or hopper wall. The air escapes under the pad boot, causing it to vibrate against the wall. The pressurized air fluidizes surrounding materials and the vibratory action of the boot creates mechanical flow.
