The Sanitary VersaMix Model VMC-50 from Charles Ross was designed to provide maximum process flexibility and includes three agitation systems. It is constructed of type 316 stainless steel wetted parts. The unit includes a conventional disk-type, high-speed disperser, a three-wing anchor with TFE scrapers, gas-purged shaft seals, a 50 psi jacketed dished bottom vessel to permit heating or cooling during processing, vacuum and pressure construction for operation to 29 1⁄2 hg and 25 psig, a portable mixing vessel on caster wheels and independently variable speed drives.
