The 400DL high shear mixer from Ross has a 13⁄8-in. diameter rotor driven by a 1 HP motor that operates at speeds up to 10,000 rpm. The mixer comes with an attached 2.5-gal. mix vessel and a range of stator heads: slotted, round hole, fine screen and four-stage designs. All wetted surfaces are constructed in 316 stainless steel. Optional finishes up to a mirror finish, special materials such as hastelloy and special seals to permit operation in applications to 250 psi are available.
