Spraying Systems’ self-cleaning strainers allow the use of poor quality water, minimize the risk of nozzle clogging and extend the time between cleaning cycles. As debris accumulates on strainer screens, a pressure differential is created; when this reaches a pre-set value or predetermined amount of time has elapsed, a suction scanner rotating in a spiral motion is activated. The scanner vacuums the filter cake from the screen and expels it through an exhaust valve. The strainers are available in a variety of models with varying flow rate ranges.
