Designed to inspect processed and fresh-cut vegetables, Key’s Raptor multi-sensor sorters have multiple wavelength lasers with color cameras to optimize performance without requiring a laser module change or additional modules. With the combination, the sorters detect product defects, extraneous vegetable matter and foreign materials based on differences in the structural properties of the objects, differing levels of chlorophyll, color, size and shape. The laser combination is available on Key’s narrow-belt Optyx 3000 sorters, mid-volume Optyx 6000 sorters and Manta high-capacity sorters.
