The American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI) announced the creation of the ADPI Jim Page Memorial Scholarship. It was created in memory of James J. Page who enjoyed a distinguished marketing career in the dairy industry and demonstrated exceptional leadership skills while serving as the chief executive officer of ADPI from 2002 through 2008.
Emerson has acquired 100% of outstanding System Plast S.p.A. shares. System Plast S.p.A. is part of Emerson Power Transmission, a division of the Emerson Industrial Automation business segment. Based in Telgate Italy, System Plast is a producer of engineered modular belts and custom conveyor components used in the bottling, baking, food processing and packaging industries.
Dr. Zhinong Yan has joined Mol Industries as senior food safety scientist. Dr. Yan will oversee the microbial safety approaches of ThermoDrive belting as they are applied in food processing facilities.
