Designed to automatically form, top load fill and close RSC- and HSC-style corrugated cases within 1 frame, Bradman’s AX robotic case packer has a compact footprint and eliminates the need for a case erector, loader and top flap closer. Carton-in-case format and layer pattern can be varied by utilizing a modular infeed design. Incorporating advanced electronic motion control technology using a combination of robotics and servo motor drives, the unit forms the case, loads the cartons/products into the case and bottom/top seals the case at speeds up to 120 cartons/min., depending on the shape and size of the products. It can accept a series of interconnecting modules. All change part components, such as the robot end of arm tooling, are built from lightweight aluminum and high-performance plastic materials.
