B&H’s Marathon XLA roll-fed labeler handles containers from 8 oz. to 3 liters at speeds up to 650 container/min. Its 5 independent servo motors communicate on a high-speed digital bus to synchronize label feeding, cutting, gluing and container transport. An advanced registration control system and optional Invation cutter keep the labeler in registration, even with stretch-prone labels, labels with variable coefficients of friction and labels with out-of-specification eyemarks. A standard webtracker controls the horizontal tracking of labels. All electrical components are in a single control cabinet that can be mounted to the side of the labeler or placed up to 80 ft. from the unit.
