Compact in size, Greydon’s S-107 HS high-speed, in-line thermal transfer printer has 2 print heads, 1 mounted at the edge of the web and the other in the middle. Used with high-volume, high-speed (30-60 cycles/min.), multiple-lane form/fill/seal packaging machines, the printer operates at speeds up to 500mm/sec., and is suitable for applications where high-quality printing is needed and changeovers are frequent. It incorporates a pre-heat mechanism that releases the ink. The printer can be used on both forming and non-forming web.
