Urschel’s TranSlicer 2510 cutter accepts input of compressible food products up to 8 in. in diameter or firm, round products such as cabbage up to 63/4 in. in diameter. A 3-hp stainless-steel dynamic-brake motor enables smooth operation of the cutting wheel, while a large discharge chute simplifies product flow and deters product damage. Stainless-steel belt guards at the feeding end of the unit overlap the feed belts to promote positive product feed; optional stainless-steel lead-ins assist product flow. Stainless-steel feed belt extensions help smooth product transition from the belt to the cutting wheel. A shear edge holder offers a replaceable extended shear edge and includes an optional wear block to minimize rim deflection.
