Steve Willardsen of Cargill Value Added Meats was elected chairman of the board of directors of US Poultry & Egg Association; he previously served as vice chairman.
Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) Senior Vice President for Scientific and Regulatory Affairs and Chief Science Officer Robert Brackett, Ph.D., will leave the association in 2010. Brackett will assist in appointing a successor. Richard G. Wolford, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Del Monte Foods, was elected chairman of the GMA board of directors.
