Sara Lee Corp. appointed Sean Connolly as chief executive officer of its North American retail and foodservice business. Connolly will serve as chief executive officer of MeatCo (Sara Lee’s North American meats business) following the spin off of its international coffee and tea business, expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2012.
Campbell Soup Company appointed Mark Alexander as president of Campbell North America. Alexander will lead Campbell’s North America soup, sauces and beverages business, Campbell Canada, and Campbell’s North America foodservice business, which collectively account for approximately $4.6 billion in annual revenue.
