High-deflection feeders

Eriez High Deflection (HD) series feeders handle products that normally can’t be fed successfully onto an electromagnetic feeder. Their totally enclosed, magnetic drive enables feeding of practically any bulk material from micron size to bulky chunks. Previously difficult-to-feed materials such as fine powders (talc or flour), leafy products such as lettuce and sticky candies easily move with the 3/16-in. stroke of the HD feeder. Travel speeds to 80 ft. per minute and throughputs ranging from 150 to 700 cu. ft./hr. make these feeders applicable for packaging and other tough applications. With proprietary Hi–Vi magnetic drive circuits, the feeders have simple AC controls for operation. Special units can be ordered with multiple drives for greater capacities.
