Able to withstand frequent, intense and aggressive cleaning processes that may include exposure to acids and alkaline solutions, NORD gear drives have wide radii and are optimized for cleaning solutions to wash off easily in all installation positions. Five frame sizes are available with torques ranging from 800 to 5,800 in.-lbs. All models are available in 2 versions: an open-frame, lightweight yet rigid construction style and a closed type. The gear drives are equipped with a compact NEMA or IEC motor adapter, and can be combined with both NORD state-of-the-art motors or with motors from other manufacturers.
