Volkmann’s Conweigh weighing system complements its VS and PPC series of vacuum conveyors. Conweigh accurately weighs powders, granules, food particles, pellets, capsules, tablets and other bulk materials being transferred into and out of production processes via the company’s conveyors. The weighing system registers weight within +/-1% or better, allowing adjustments to be made to avoid weight gains or losses during transfer and improve production outcomes. Depending on the production application, the weighing system can work with 1, 3 or 4 load cells. In the most common case, weighing takes place at the vacuum receiver immediately prior to discharge into the process (gain-in-weight).
