Available in a power range from 125 to 450hp (90 to 315kW), Danfoss D-frame VLT drives leverage back channel cooling to remove 90% of the heat generated by them to keep electronics within optimal operation temperatures. An IP54 (NEMA 12) seal between the back-channel cooling duct and the electronics area of the drives reduces contamination of electronic components. The drives are available with IP20, IP21 (NEMA 1) or IP 54 (NEMA 12) enclosure protection ratings, and come standard with conformal-coated, printed circuit boards.
