The meat processing facility was under review by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) after a routine test on September 4 identified a positive E. Coli sample in raw beef trimmings. USDA informed CFIA that the facility had been re-listed following a renewed commitment to food safety regulations. Enhanced CFIA oversight activities will be ongoing.
