
The Guelph Food Technology Center (GFTC), a provider of food safety certification and training, has merged with global public health and safety organization NSF International. The deal gives GFTC members access to NSF’s variety of food safety training, auditing and certification courses including seafood, organic and global food certifications. The organization will be known as NSF-GFTC and will remain based in Guelph, Canada. Going forward, NSF-GFTC will operate in over 150 countries and offer more than 180 training courses focusing on regulatory, HACCP and Global Food Safety Initiative benchmarked standards.
