Kellogg’s reaches $4 million settlement in Mini-Wheats class action suit

Kellogg’s agreed to a $4 million settlement in a class action suit alleging Mini-Wheats cereal was falsely advertised to improve childrens’ attentiveness, memory and other cognitive function. Consumer plaintiffs held the claims were not supported by competent clinical evidence, while Kellogg’s maintains it did nothing wrong and stands by its advertising. If approved by the court, the settlement will provide for a refund on up to three boxes of Mini-Wheats cereal purchased during the alleged false advertising. Claims may be submitted at www.CerealSettlement.com.
