Innovation Center launches new tools for dairy producers

The Innovation Center for US Dairy announced its call for nominations for the 2014 US Dairy Sustainability Awards. The awards recognize outstanding farms, businesses and partnerships that are good for the community, the planet and business.

Nominations are open until November 15, 2013 to all segments of the US dairy supply chain for the following categories: Outstanding Dairy Farm Sustainability; Outstanding Dairy Processing & Manufacturing Sustainability; Outstanding Achievement in Renewable Energy; and Outstanding Achievement in Energy Efficiency.

To help kick off the call for nominations, the Innovation Center released Dairy's Sustainability Journey, a documentary film series produced in collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund featuring winners of the 2013 sustainability awards.
