Key Technology appointed Steve Johnson as senior director of Latin America and Asia sales.

The Romaco Group opened new offices in China and Russia. It also added a number of new members to its team: Carsten Strenger, CFO and COO, Romaco Group;  Peter Haider, vice president customer service, Romaco Group; Charles E. Ravalli, general manager, Romaco North America; and Shu Liu, general manager, Romaco China.

David Carlin was named the senior vice president of legislative affairs for the International Dairy Foods Association.

Bunting Magnetics Company named Jeffrey Smith as supply chain manager at the company’s Newton, KS headquarters.

William Toler was named president and CEO of Hostess Brands. Toler succeeds C. Dean Metropoulos.

Naturex has acquired the Chicago-based Vegetable Juices Inc., doubling the size of its food and beverage operations.

Olympus Partners of Stamford, CT has completed the acquisition of Pregis Corporation North America, a protective materials and systems manufacturer.

Unisource Worldwide, Inc.’s and xpedx’s  new distribution solutions company will be known as Veritiv upon completion of their merger.

Myers Industries has completed the acquisition of Scepter Corporation and Scepter Manufacturing, LLC, a producer of portable fuel and water containers and accessories, storage totes and environmental bins. 

The International Bottled Water Association announced the appointment of three new members to its board of directors: Andrew Eaton (Eurofins Eaton Analytical), Heidi Paul (Nestlé Waters North America) and Shayron Barnes-Selby (DS Services).
