Designed for simple positioning or indexing applications with synchronous or induction motors, the Siemens Sinamics S110 single-axis AC servo drive operates in the 0.12 to 90 kW power range, and features an array of positioning functions from relative and absolute traversing with specified velocity and acceleration to more complex functions, such as on-the-fly positioning and referencing. It can be used for simple pick-and-place and feeding tasks, with rotary indexing tables and for robotic and handling applications. The drive has 7 on-board functions that meet the safety requirements of category 3 as defined in EN 954-1 and Safety Integrated Level 2 as defined in EN 61508.
