Blue conveyor belts from Habasit meet hygiene standards because they are a different color than most of the food products they convey, since blue is a color that rarely exists in foodstuffs. Remaining food residues are also more visible on blue conveyor belts and the blue material does not reflect much light, so there is little interference with optoelectronic devices. The company offers coated fabric and plastic modular belts, as well as blue belts for use in bakery, biscuit, dairy, meat, fish and poultry processing plants.
