PepsiCo Beverages & Foods named Mary Dillon president of the Quaker Foods business unit.

Adolph Coors Co. and Molson Inc. announced an agreement to combine in a merger of equals. The company will be called Molson Coors Brewing Co. and will be the world's fifth-largest brewing company by volume, with combined beer sales of 51 million barrels.



RIVERS
Pilgrim's Pride Corp.namedJ. Clinton Riverschief operating officer. Rivers previously served as the company's executive vice president, prepared foods operations. He will report toO.B. Goolsby, who served as the company's president and chief operating officer since 2002 and was recently appointed president and chief executive officer.

Ed O'Malley is now president of retail sales and marketing with SK Foods. His previous positions with companies such as Dole Foods and Fresh Express have included senior vice president sales and marketing, director of trade marketing and director of international marketing.

Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. is purchasing Northland Cranberries, Inc.'s 172,000-sq.-ft. cranberry receiving and concentrate manufacturing plant in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, as well as its inventory of frozen, unprocessed cranberries for $128 million. The companies also signed an agreement in which Ocean Spray will receive and convert into concentrate all the cranberries produced by Northland and its contracted growers. Using that concentrate, Northland will bottle, market, and sell its own juice brands.



CRAWFORD
All-Pak, Inc.'sPresident and COODennis Crawfordhas been appointed to a three-year position as chairman of theNational Association of Container Distributors'Industry Advisory Council. The NACD is a professional association of 33 packaging distributors who supply bottles, tubes, pumps, sprayers and closure systems.

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group is merging with Stahlman Group, Inc., a designer of food and beverage production and distribution plants. The Stahlman Group will continue its existing operations in New Hampshire and operate as a new national practice within the Barry-Wehmiller Design Group.



Leslye Fraseris now the director of the office of regulations and policy with theFDA's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition. Prior to this appointment, Fraser served asCFSAN'sassociate director for regulations, office of regulations and policy.
