LeakMatic in-line and LeakPointer stand-alone non-destructive package leak detectors from PBI-Dansensor monitor packages to provide a water-free leak test of shipping cases and individual boxes containing meat, pasta, bread, cheese and other products packaged in paperboard, film, foil or cans. The non-destructive sensor uses trace CO2 gas to detect a leak. In the case of a leak, some of the CO2 in the package will leak out into the test-measuring chamber and an alarm will be activated.
