Rollprint says its packaging film aggressively seals through food product contamination. The Legato lidding film is an oriented polyester film, extrusion coated with Allegro M sealant, which has enhanced chemical qualities that provide the ability to seal through contamination. The transparent lidstock seals to numerous rigid cup or tray structures. The company says it is a lower cost alternative with improved peelability for applications currently relying on ionomer-based films for tough-to-seal needs.
