A result of a joint venture between Molded Materials, Inc. and GE Plastics, retort trays made from a PPX grade of a NORYL polycarbonate PTE blend offer low temperature toughness and high heat resistance plus durability, cleanability and non-stick features. The trays can include RFID devices and offer one-piece construction, making them suitable for use as a single-handling container for warehousing, shipping and temporary storage.
