Dryer

The Clextral Rotante dryer achieves uniform drying for a range of high-value and hard-to-dry products, such as pasta, couscous, 3-D pellets, cereals, high-density snacks, fragile products, starter fish feeds, high-oil fish feeds, premium and super premium pet foods and treats, fruit bits, extruded rice and other sticky products. It conveys product via continuous rotation to ensure uniform airflow on all product surfaces, eliminating product over-heating or unequal moisture.

Fines drop down the sloped interior of the dryer for real-time removal via screw conveyor back into the extruder. The dryer has reduced interior volume to minimize process air quantities. A continuous, homogeneous drying process and uniform residence times ensure a final product moisture variation of +/-0.1%. A range of standard models is available, built to specific product/flow rates.
