Flow indicator

April 5, 2012

Offering a 360° view of flow, the L.J. Star full-view flow indicator enables the measurement of the flow of liquid, powder or gas through pipelines, as well as a visual inspection of applications that run through pipelines. They are available in 2 styles designed to accommodate various mounting positions, fluid characteristics and flow rates. fex0412ts15_inbody.jpg

The plain style can be installed in any position to observe fluid flow in any direction, and is usually employed to detect the presence or absence of solutions, or to observe fluids for turbulence, color or clarity. The drip tube style for vertical lines with a downward flow direction is used for applications characterized by low or intermittent flow rates, such as distillation processes. Manufactured from either carbon steel or stainless steel, each model has impact-deterrent shields.
