PepsiCo to Open Food and Beverage R&D Center in Shanghai

The move is aimed at driving growth in emerging markets.

PepsiCo has announced the opening of a new food and beverage innovation center in Shanghai, China. The facility will include an advanced culinary center and test kitchens as well as a pilot manufacturing plant. The move is designed to develop locally relevant products by tailoring global brands to local tastes and drive growth in emerging markets.
