Consumer Goods Forum, Sustainability Consortium announce global partnership

Partnership will be aimed at measuring sustainability.

Consumer Goods Forum (CGF), an industry network of retailers, manufacturers, service providers and other stakeholders, announced a partnership with The Sustainability Consortium (TSC), an organization devoted to developing tools to support informed decision making for product sustainability. The partnership will effectively measure and communicate product lifecycles to enhance sustainability throughout the supply chain, focusing on product life cycle impacts. A single global framework will allow companies, customers, regulators and NGOs to share information and improve sustainability by gaining transparency.

Shane O’Halloran joined Food Engineering in November of 2012 as Digital/Online Editor.
