Continental Mills buys Sun Country Foods

Maker of Kretschmer wheat germ brand

Continental Mills Inc. has purchased Sun Country Foods Inc., the maker of Kretschmer Wheat Germ brand, from Brynwood Partners VI. Kretschmer has a 90 percent market share in the US wheat germ category. The acquisition includes Sun Country Foods’ manufacturing facility in Manhattan, KS.
