United Fresh sets meetings to discuss FSMA comments

United Fresh Produce Association will host meetings to provide opportunities for fresh produce industry stakeholders to learn about and respond to the proposed FSMA rules. The first will take place Feb. 27 in Washington, DC, prior to FDA’s public hearing period from Feb. 28-March 1. United Fresh will announce two additional meetings when FDA announces the dates and locations for public meetings. Two working groups comprised of members of the Food Safety & Technology Council, Government Relations Council and other associations have begun a review of the rules.
