Bulk pasteurization systems

March 6, 2013

Radio Frequency Macrowave bulk pasteurization systems use a high-frequency electric field to control pathogens. With the systems, material to be treated is conveyed through a high-frequency electrode array where alternating electrical energy causes it to heat rapidly and uniformly throughout the product thickness. The systems operate at 40MHz without affecting product quality. Available in conveyorized or batch configurations, they are used for the bulk pasteurization and/or insect disinfestation of nut meats, various types of flour, pasta, fishmeal, xanthan gum and other food ingredients as well as finished products.
