plate heat exchanges alfa lavalEngineered for less sensitive fluid milk, beverage or water applications, Alfa Laval BaseLine plate heat exchangers provide a combination of temperature and holding time for accurate heating and cooling; they can be used for applications from utility heating to dairy pasteurization. A large plate surface area allows optimal heat transfer while lowering pressure drops. The long, narrow plate geometry, along with a chevron flow distribution area, eliminates dead spots. Fitted with FDA-compliant, glue-less gaskets, all the plates are reversible and have parallel flow.
