ISO seeks comments for revision of ISO 22000 on food safety management

ISO LogoThe International Organization for Standardization is seeking feedback from active members of the food industry on its current ISO 22000 standard. The organization plans to update the food safety management standard in September to address evolving market needs. 

According to the organization, standards are reviewed every five years. The ISO 22000 was published in 2005.

Comments from stakeholders will be collected by the ISO committee until mid-June before revisions begin later this year.

To suggest improvements, comments can be sent to a company’s ISO member body in its county or by sending an email to hj@ds.dk.
