An alternative to traditional stepper technology, the Yaskawa Junma AC servo has a plug-and-play design that requires no parameter settings or gain adjustments. The servo accepts a pulse reference input from the host controller or PLC. System parameters are set on system power up, machine load inertia is calculated automatically, and tuning gains are adjusted dynamically, even when the load changes. Adaptive tuning and vibration suppression functions maintain steady positioning. Other functions include jogging, homing to marker pulse, electronic gearing and torque limiting. The RoHS-compliant servo conforms to UL and CE industry standards.
